Water is a force that has shaped the landscape of nearly every environment, from the flood basins of the Mississippi River to the basin & range topography of the Mountain West. Flood Basin & Basin an ongoing series investigating senses of place and topography. Each 360/VR video places the viewer in a flat Louisiana terrain that has been expanded upwards. By making these mountains into water, this realm ponders the relationship of water in different ecosystems and the permeability such landscapes possess.
